Tripod house

This house is built on a triangular plot of land between the road and the beach. It is composed of three modules of miniature houses assembled, offset and raised on a series of concrete porticos. This elevation creates space for a shaded terrace isolated from the road by a dense hedge. The spectacular V-shaped porticos, the glazed ceramic cladding of the core buildings and the tiled roofs provide a rather refreshing blend of crude, refined and commonplace elements.
