According to local legend, this belvedere was built on Tito’s orders to pay homage to the beauty of the Istrian coast. The building is organised in concentric fashion, with a wide panoramic balcony surrounding the main room, bordered by a ring for circulation and by stairs leading to the lower level. In the centre, the kitchen and bar have a central ventilation shaft. The lower level houses offices and a few extra bedrooms which enjoy a Scharoun-esque, vertiginous balcony.
