Straw hut

Built on the beach, this highly exotic bar, whose inspiration remains nonetheless vague, is connected to the road by a raised pathway winding between the dunes. The deployment of archaic techniques (tied wooden frameworks, straw roofing) and the careful attention paid to this construction and its access jetty, transform this exogenous transplantation into entirely appropriate beach architecture and an incidental homage to pastiche.
