This modest construction echoes the declarations of F.L. Wright, who asserted the right of architecture to merge intimately with the remarkable features of a site rather than vacuously staring at them. To benefit from good accessibility and the coolness of the torrent, this café has therefore been built straddling the water, providing a terrace on a balcony over the road, and a second terrace on the roof, almost lost amid the foliage of the plain trees and lit by paper lanterns suspended from the branches.
