The town of Camogli, east of Genoa, based on a very steep site, is organised in strips parallel to the shore. The sea front, constrained by this significant declivity, is composed of a long promenade onto which constructions (pools, restaurants) are grafted, in line with it or slightly set back. The construction presented here sits atop a strong abutment, a deformation of the bearing wall, which houses a few storerooms. The rather typical design, which combines a tiled roof and a wooden framework with a rustic brickwork base, recalls the heterogeneous and acrobatic projects of Carlo Mollino.
