Inhabited platforms

This elementary structure is composed of a base set into the slope of the land, its sole facade facing onto the road, and a core building composed of a series of three superimposed platforms. The platforms occupy around half of the width of the base, and the dwellings only occupy half of the width of the platforms, the remaining spaces constituting a shared courtyard on the lower level and very wide raised entranceways on the upper levels. An invasive climbing plant has colonised all the floor edges, providing shade and foliage in high season.
