Spectacular and expertly laid-out, this bridge/building recalls the futurist dreams intermingling architecture and infrastructure. The Autogrill group, now based all over the world, was a pioneer in motorway restaurants, emblematic of a certain culture of mobility. This crossing, swaggering and rather strange in the expression of its structural elements (yes, there is actually a second support point !), has enabled the creation of a superb dining room overhanging the traffic lanes and protected from excessive sunlight by effective scale-like screens.
