La Plage du Prophète is nestled in the hollow of a bend in the Corniche road. It is protected from the breakers by an artificial breakwater. The modestly sized beach enjoys a number of services housed under the road, including a sea centre, a monitoring station, a refreshment stall, and a sailing club with boat houses. It is accessed from the footpath by means of long sets of steps running between the cantilevered posts of the road.
