Several variations of this construction model are present in Greece (see KM 6692) and Albania (empty structure, partial development). It represents a rather unexpected avatar of Le Corbusier’s Dom-ino project. Fiscal regulations may explain these constructions, since only completed buildings are taxed. The concrete skeleton (posts / slab flooring) is built under an initial phase, and is then colonised according to family and professional needs. Here, a restaurant occupies the ground floor, and the dwelling is raised on stilts to enjoy a clearer view.
